Cameroonian President Paul Biya has been sworn in for a 7th term after winning 71% of the vote in last month’s election. At his inauguration, 85-year-old Biya acknowledged what he called the frustrations and the aspirations of people living in english-speaking regions. This after a video was released apparently showing armed separatists claiming responsibility for a mass kidnapping in the northwest of the country.
