the former governor of anambra state and now the PDP vice candidate for 2019 Presidential election Dr Peter Obi speaks to Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB over their election boycott plans.
Peter Obi said , i understand the pains my people in the south east and south south are going through since Nigeria begins, it is a very big shame to our past leaders who allowed us to fall in this suituation,
is true some of them are no more to witness this kind of evil suituation they landed us in,
i still thank God that some of them who were still alive has a message to send those of them that are no more when they will meet them again,
i am not blaiming IPOB and massob for their solidarity works as an oppressed people ,
it has come to our notice that peoples rights are not equal in this country ,
we the southern part of this country has tried our best to make this country work as one nation but our brother in the otherside never wants,
no man on earth will endeur what we have pass through as people with great natural resources like oil, timbers, gold, cement and others,
upon all these resources we are been denied of things that are been found in the northern parts of Nigeria,
i can count on what you could find in northern part of this nation which is not in our land till today, things like airports, seaports, good roads, good schools, metro stations, security and others,
how can an oil producing states have the most number of unemployed people the world, is that not shame enough for us to raise up and work for our own good,
but the question is how can we work for our own good ?,
is it by fighting? No!!
is it by crying? No!!
should we run away? still no!!
all we need to do is to get ourself into power,
getting our selves into power is the only solution we have,
its the only way we can get our resources bag ,
for example is only when we are power we can talk about restructuring this nation so that people can have rights on their resources and other things they own in this nation,
