Cameroon's Biya decrees March 22 for annulled polls in Anglophone zone

Cameroon president Paul Biya on Friday issued a decree announcing a new date for annulled legislative polls in parts of the restive Anglophone region.

The decree read in part: “The electorate of the following constituencies is convened on 22 March 2020 to elect Members of Parliament…” It went ahead to list 10 constituencies in the North-West and Lebialem, the sole affected constituency in the South-West.

  1. If the government is taking a re-run for this parliamentary or local council elections, was it a fair election during the presidential election?

    Total Non-sens and a window-fold just trying to deceive the international partners but we all know that there is war and atrocious activities in the English-speaking regions of northwest and southwest parts, formally called Ambazonia since 2016.
