*REACTING TO THE USA GOVERNMENT TWEET*

We THANK the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon, for calling out CAMEROON to end the killings and initiate dialogue. The call was made in their most recent tweet.

However, the call does not, in any way, concern the people of Ambazonia—the former British Southern Cameroons.

We encourage the U.S. Embassy to pay more attention to the worsening conflict in neighboring Ambazonia by calling it out by its name—the former British Southern Cameroons.

We also encourage the U.S. to address the root cause in neighboring Ambazonia during their next call-out. The killing in Cameroon is far less than the killing in neighboring Ambazonia—the former British Southern Cameroons.
