5. Ratification of SCNC Officer elections:
Motion: The Board of the Studio City Neighborhood Council hereby ratifies the election of the following officers, elected at its May 2018 board meeting, to ensure compliance with governing documents of the SCNC: President, Vice President and Treasurer.

9. Homelessness – Special presentation by Emily Martiniuk of Corp for Supportive Housing, Luis from North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, Alyn from Los Angeles Family Housing (5 min per speaker and 2 min per stakeholder).
10. Public Safety Committee Report by Craig Radow (2 min per stakeholder and member, 10 min total).

Motion A: In regards to City Council motion #18-0357 presented by Councilman Paul Krekorian, the Studio City Neighborhood Council is strongly opposed to any review, assessment, and / or development of the properties located at 11220 Ventura Blvd, 12225 Ventura Blvd, or at any additional Studio City location, in regards to providing temporary or permanent homeless shelter, storage facility, and / or parking.
Motion B: In addition to the establishment of an Illegal Fireworks Task Force to report on issues related to illegal fireworks and steps that could be taken to curtail their use within the City, the Studio City Neighborhood Council strongly supports the amended motion
11. Treasurer’s Report by Richard Welsh (2 min per stakeholder and Board Member, (10 min total).
Motion A: The Board of the Studio City Neighborhood Council has reviewed the Monthly Expenditure Report for May 2018, and hereby accepts and approves it.
