Standing with The Students
This film portrays one of the tales of the ongoing nightmare of French-imposed neocolonial regimes in Africa, in which students at the University of Buea in Ambazonia (former Southern Cameroons) organize to demand the right to freely assemble, updated libraries and other basic amenities, and become the target of repeated military assault for questioning the status quo. Street footage of the events of 2005-2006 was shot with hidden cameras.
“France is the devil in Africa.” ~ Kenneth Kaunda, former freedom fighter and president of Zambia
