US Ambassador to Cameroon outlines priorities – including efforts to resolve Anglophone crisis

The nominee for the position of U.S Ambassador to Cameroon, Human Rights expert, Christopher Lamora has thanked President Biden and US Secretary of State for their confidence in him.
Appreciating the richness and diversity of Cameroon, the Ambassador expressed sadness at the many challenges being faced by Cameroon.
Among other challenges, he acknowledges the Anglophone Crisis which has resulted in over 3000 killed and over a million displaced. The Ambassador also highlighted challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Expressing his gratitude, the 51-year-old also cites his family members, including his husband, Eric.
Lamora is currently Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S Embassy in Accra, Ghana.
