We are making huge strides in 4 key areas

1.Strengthening of our core forces and the gradual rebuilding of our peripheral forces. This is thanks to GZs' ability to mobilise resources and our efforts at ensuring collaboration amongst our forces. The strength of our core and the rebuilding of our peripheries will end and tire the enemy. They now count on God and Allah to help them win.

2. Physical and psychological control of most activities within areas of our control and even beyond. Our forces continue to assert authority over most activities. The enemy’s attempt to reestablish itself has been relegated to PR stunt. They will not control Ambazonia through PR stunt.

3. The Ambazonia Governing Council believes very strongly that the only way we will assert Ambazonian rule is by creating Ambazonian institutions to replace those of the occupier. The most effective institutions are those managed by both our forces and our civilian population. Our civilian population can not be bystanders in their own freedom. That is why we are setting up mediating institutions like ATLA to oversee Ambazonian fledgling institutions in areas of education, development, community policing and taxation. Those who said Diasporans were irrelevant and that GZ must take control are now confused. We ask all forces to institutionalize processes, make them transparent, and participatory.

4. Targetted diplomacy. The success of the Canada pretalks has projected Ambazonia and shown clearly that we are united. It also exposed the massive division in Cameroun. We have continued to nurture the relationships established and open new doors.

We have been working hard to ensure that the voices of our people and their aspirations are reflected in every diplomatic and institutional building initiative. We are also aware that small gains in our struggle create avenues for imaginary power tussle. Be rest assured we will manage it.

Fellow Ambazonians

After the successful Toronto pre AAC stop, the different leaders head to Atlanta on April 15. Toronto showed us that our people are excited, and we must build on this enthusiasm and our growing strength on the ground to deal a final blow against a more disintegrating enemy.

The pain of whaling parents was heart-wrenching as they mourned their children murdered by Cameroun in Ombe. We extend our heartfelt condolences to these families. In a free Ambazonia, infrastructural development for purposes of safety and economic growth will be a priority of any Ambazonia government.

I also call on all Ambazonians to remain focused on the resistance. For 7 years, the noise makers and political agitators and saboteurs have been looking for a replacement to Dr Cho Ayaba and the ADF. They will have to wait for another 60 years. We will be considering the Batibo initiative as a national law. This will enable all forces to legally raise money and work with our civilian population. All ADF controlled areas must institute ATLA as a mediating institution. I encourage other forces to do the same or adapt ATLA to their contextual realities. We must invest more in rebuilding areas under our control so as to eliminate reliance on the occupier which has been using supposed reconstruction as a political propaganda to tout return to normalcy. If Independence must mean Independence, we must create Ambazonian institutions.

Breaking News: *E Don Bad: Hear what Biya said.*

Cameroon's President, Africa's longest serving Iron-clad dictator Paul Biya has requested the Swiss Government to stop any pretalk arrangement with Ambazonians. Paul Biya bragged that if Ambazonians don't want to line behind the so-called Special Status, they will be crushed on the battlefield.

This officially ends the long years of deceit. It is important to note that Cameroon had deceived a few Amba-Zam-Zams in the likes of Boh Herbert, Pastor Samuel Sako, Pasto Chris Anu and others, that they (Cameroon) was willing to negotiate. Cameroon had passed through the Swiss to make the offer. It is also worthy to note that the Ambazonia Governing Council (AGovC), the vanguard organization committed to the complete liberation of Ambazonia was also contacted by the Swiss. But the activist Maradona, Dr. Ayaba told the Swiss in no uncertain terms, "we di look Cameroon with corney eye. Go and tell Cameroon to 'park fine'. In fact, tell them the AGovC knows they are lying and trying to hoodwink Ambazonians to concentrate on talks than on Ground Zero". A group dubbed Pastor's Internet Group (PIG) and a certain Team ACT would unleash a litany of smear campaigns against the AGovC leadership. The AGovC however remained UNBLINKED.

And hey! Just like these political prostitutes and scavengers resisted the AGovC's concept of self-defense, the #idiets with no strategic blueprint for the liberation continue to deceive gullible Ambazonians.

And this new Swiss deal development makes Dr. Ayaba emerge as a winner in disciplined, focused and strategic-thinking leadership for the umpteenth time.

Today we took another bold step in our strenuous effort to work together. For the first time, the #AGOVC Leadership held a two hours meeting with Team ACT. It was a meeting pregnant with emotions and camaraderie.

Consultation between the two teams will continue.

Cameroon: Mediation, Confidence Building, Humanitarian Aid, Education…. in Focus At Southern Cameroons High Level Retreat

With the huge international involvement in the Retreat by some G-7 countries and the participation of the Swiss Government, the Coalition for Dialogue and negotiation, CDN, hopes that this retreat would lead to a broader international mediation of the conflict (Swiss 2.0) – which ties with the aspirations of many Southern Cameroonians, as expressed in different surveys.

A CDN 2020 survey showed that more than 80% of Southern Cameroonians are in support of a multi-country international mediation of the conflict. The retreat organized by CDN ran from Thursday, Oct 28, 2021, through Monday, November 1, 2002, in Toronto, Canada.

The high-level leadership retreat brought together a very diverse group of Southern Cameroonian leaders across religious, traditional authorities, civil society, Non-State Armed Groups (NSAGs), women’s and youths’ groups.

High profile attendees among Cameroonian civil society included: Prof Carlson Anyangwe who been one of the most articulate voices of the Southern Cameroons case across generations, the moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon Rt Rev Fonki Samuel, the Arch Bishop Emeritus Esua, Barrister Agbor Balla of CHRDA, the US-based US Institute of Peace (USIP) Award-winning Peace Crusader, Esther Omam, former SDF MP for Boyo Paulinus Jua amongst others.


The Ambazonian NSAGs attendees included: AGOVC Vice-chair, Dr Julius Nyih; IG-Care (of Sisiku AyukTabe) by its Vice President, Yerima Yapney; Consortium leader, John Mbah Akuroh; amongst others, while representatives from three G-7 Countries, including Switzerland and officials involved in the Swiss-led-Mediation- Process participated from the international community.

Panelists on the retreat include leading peace and conflict resolution practitioners from renowned institutions in Ireland (they prefer not to be named), Canadian and U.S. Universities.

According to sources, the Retreat followed Chatham house rules, with participants able to freely express themselves without fear or intimidation. “The starting building block of the retreat was building trust amongst Southern Cameroonians and it started by asking the question: what is the problem that is dividing us? Among the range of answers proposed is the necessity of having more of these face-to-face encounters among Southern Cameroonian leaders so they can better understand each other even in their differences; unity in diversity,” a source told PAV.

Participants at the retreat enthused on the need to cultivate and begin nurturing trust among the Southern Cameroonian leaders across religious, traditional, civil society and NSAGs lines. Also in focus were animated discussions on a framework to enhance access to education, humanitarian aid and to uphold human rights and key principles and fundamentals to guide mediation and negotiations

Speaking about the expectations of the Retreat Dr Denis Foretia, Co-Chair of the Coalition for Dialogue and Negotiations (CDN) noted that “Everyone knows that there is no military solution to this war. The government cannot win militarily. We must find all ways to bring peace and that is only possible when there is a broad consensus on the process to achieve a mediated settlement. This retreat will help Southern Cameroonian leaders and other key stakeholders define that pathway.”

The Ambazonian Coalition Team (ACT) which has been claiming a monopoly of access to the Swiss mediation process was amongst the high profile absentee at the Southern Cameroons Leadership Retreat. It is, however, unclear how the post-retreat environment would work for ACT considering that the Swiss Government and officials of the Swiss mediation process were in attendance in Toronto but ACT was absent.

The Coalition for Dialogue and Negotiation is, however, determined to ensure an inclusive Southern Cameroonian side for negotiations and is scheduled to pursue conversations with the ACT team post-retreat to get them to work together with the other NSAGs.

Since 2017, a war of secession has seen deadly fighting between government forces and separatists. Both sides have committed widespread atrocities, leading to thousands of deaths and the displacement of approximately half a million people, either internally or as refugees in neighbouring countries.

Despite the holding of the Major National Dialogue by the government, a dialogue that many found wanting, the fighting ongoing in the North West and South West Regions of the country has not slowed down but instead intensified in recent months and this has hampered joint engagement toward dialogue to end the civil war.

In its latest report, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, OCHA, highlighted the impact the violence has had on education: “Since the beginning of the crisis in 2016, education has been highly affected. Many schools have closed to avoid frequent attacks against education facilities. Teachers and students have been attacked, kidnapped, threatened and killed. In 2021, more than 700, 000 children are deprived of education in the South West and North West Regions.”

Our brave fighters from Bui, Boyo, Kupe, and Mezam have continued their assault on the enemy, inflicting heavy casualties, material damage, and psychologically demoralizing the enemy. This is the pathway to victory, and we must continue to commit to a holistic plan that delegitimizes Cameroun, bankrupt it economically, demoralize its soldiers but on the other hand, consolidate our gains, stabilizes the liberation effort, and inspire our forces to undertake more actions. A combination of these approaches wins us international respect and shatters Cameroun's international image as a credible partner and an anchor for stability. My sincere appreciation to all those men and women who continue to fight and die so that our children will never be afraid to be called Ambazonians. My deep appreciation to our entire population for respecting Kontrisunday. It is giving the enemy nightmares. Continue until victory is achieved.

Fellow Ambazonians

These GZ activities will continue to strengthen our hands in international diplomacy. We must be reminded of my pledge to ensure that Ambazonia negotiates as a people. That is why we have accepted an invitation from the CDN Council of Elders to discuss this possibility. We are against using the same elites, who insist on outcomes wherein their interest is protected and who project platforms that promise such desires. Despite our misgivings, it is important to reserve judgement until proven otherwise. We want a new Ambazonia. Not a cloned Cameroun. On another front, the AGOVC has restated and clarified its position with respect to negotiations. This was necessitated by some international representation. The AGOVC remains committed to a multilaterally led negotiations process. Cameroun must commit. No hide-and-seek diplomacy.

We have laid a nationalistic foundation in our struggle. Our strong and uncompromising stances have strengthened Ambazonia's resolve and won the admiration of our friends and foes. We have not blinked in the face of populist drive for shortcuts. We have insisted on a pathway that guarantees independence. The posture of the AGOVC turned nchangshoeboys into machinegun assaulting warriors. The strong posture of the AGOVC changed agitators to Liberators and is gradually changing the international systems cosmetic window dressing diplomatic approaches to restore the status quo into a process that guarantees an outcome for justice and peace. Our posture will not change the cause 60 years that eroded the foundation of nationalism and bred more agitators than nationalists, but it will guarantee that we are never robbed again. Liberation theory demands unwavering leadership that tunnels through tough mountains to the promised land. The AGOVC leadership is now comfortable to engage to provide the leadership required to build consensus positions and integrate the stakes of others into its liberation agenda. That is why I have reached out to try to make peace in the Moghamo area and find a solution that helps us stabilize Momo and take full control. This will not be easy as former CPDM elites within the Momo Cartel equates freedom to the defeat of cronyism and elitism that benefits a few. Despite the difficulties, we will continue to work with those who believe that we can stabilize Momo easily if we work together. These elites have manipulated the population along tribal lines. They have instrumentalized fighters, abandoned them, and only use them to draft money which has been embezzled. We must put an end to this machination and gross abuse of our population. We will work for a consensus position but are ready and capable of imposing one using force. Watch the video accompanying this message to see the abysmal of our people.

The enemy camp is confused. It can no longer rely on force and bribing enablers. Cheap and childish propaganda is now a weapon of choice. It has engaged in the circulation of fake flyers. These flyers are being propagated by their internal beneficiaries. There are no shortcuts to Freedom. Freedom winners must sacrifice, work hard, work on a foundation of truth and see competition as a healthy instrument in innovation. You cannot blackmail your way to the top; however successful, you will not last. Your victory must be based on merit, hard work, and the presentation of a better model. Cameroun and its internal beneficiaries have relied on propaganda, violence, and continuous intoxication. It has never worked in liberation struggles. I call on our people to remain steadfast. The strategy of our liberation ensures an outcome that guarantees both political and economic independence. It creates an enabling environment for an alternative educational system, a bottom-up economic model, and rewards productivity and ownership of the factors of production and a political system that reflects our socio-cultural realities. To achieve these outcomes, persistence and consistency are required. This month we raised 14000 dollars for our forces. We are meeting again in a few weeks to mobilise more resources for the war effort. Until Amba is truly free, we will neither blink nor relent. #ambazonia #freesoutherncameroons
